I'm on spring break, but if there had been school, it probably would have been cancelled. Since the weather was SO nasty, I stayed in all day and worked on little projects. I made these little pouches for my mom...special order!

big on birds

Well, we had another sister's crafting day. Another sister's crafting day where almost no crafting got done. oh well! My little sis, however, did work on this adorable little embroidery project. This piece is destined to become a framed earring holder. Cute, no? Will update when completed. Nice, Alli!

lastest in crafting

This past weekend was full of accomplishments. I did some fix-up projects for a friend (the kind you never want to get started but feel SO good to finish), hemmed a pair of pants (believe it or not, I've never ever hemmed a pair of pants!), and sewed up some sweet pencil holders.

This one I made for myself:
Notice the special pocket for my tape measure. Yep. Pretty sweet. So then you roll it up and toss it in your bag. Organization rules!

I also crafted an organizer for my sister's jewelry-making supplies...

Woo hoo!

fresh at freshy's

oh hi!

So...January was REAL slow. February gradually got better and better, especially with my school's midwinter break in sight. So I sewed and sewed and sewed through it all (what else was I going to do?). During my week off, I got a message from Amber at Freshy's in West Seattle. Did I want to show my stuff in her shop this weekend? Heck yes!

Freshy's a super cute little coffee shop/cafe on California in West Seattle. Amber makes delicious sandwiches and soups and, of course, coffee. It was a great spot to discover, and I met some great artists.

Did I make a killing? Nnnno, but that's OK. My major accomplishment of the day was actually liking my display. Thanks to Amber @ Freshy's!
