santa!

Yesterday we had a Sissy Christmas Brunch and went back to Swanson's Nursery in Seattle to see Santa again!

Simply cannot believe the changes in all three of these littles since last year.  Oliver especially looks 3 years older at least!

Blitzen, Dasher, and Curley (the camel) were back to assist Santa.
We can't wait for Santa to come visit us in West Linn in a few days!

cousins playdate

We had a cousins playdate today!  Too bad Oliver had school and Pearl lives so far away!  You will notice the Pearl- and Oliver-shaped holes in these pictures.

My personal favorite part of the day was when Opal played Beauty Salon with Henry.  As you can see from the look on his face, he wasn't too sure about this situation, but he sat very still, regardless.

At least there were no bows, ribbons, or headbands involved in this scenario.  Tomorrow we're off to see the Howell Cousins and Grandma and Grandpa Wiecks! Yippee!

bernie faces

We had Bernie over to play today.  Henry got to see some real live baby faces, which is awesome because he loves the ones in his book!  We decided to make our own book, entitled Bernie Faces.

a visit to mr. claus

Henry got to meet Santa on Saturday!  He was a very good boy and didn't cry on Santa's lap.  He knows on which side his bread is buttered.
Henry can't talk, but if he could I think he would have asked Santa to bring him his two bottom teeth.
Oliver and Opal put in their requests too.
 Candy canes all around!

If you have kids and want to meet up with Santa yourselves, I would highly recommend going to see him at Swanson's Nursery like we did.  While you're waiting to see the big guy, you can visit the real reindeer and the Curly the Camel, get your picture taken in a sleigh, and pick up a poinsettia on the way out the door!
