grandma and grandpa time

Henry had a ton of Grandma and Grandpa time this month!  Grandma Mary was here for a whole month, and Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Tom came for a weekend. We are so lucky to have them all!

...and luckier still that they all have plans to come back again soon.  Yay!

bernie boy!

 

 Baby Ressler is here!  After calling him "Speck" and "Sumo" for so many months, it takes some thought each time to remember to now call him by his real name: Bernie!

Can we just talk for a second about how much I love the people in this picture?

I was a little worried that Bernie might take Henry's place in Opal's heart.  But I think she has room for both. :)  The shot above reminded me of....

Henry loves his new bro-sin so much!  I'm hoping Bernie can teach Henry something about taking longer naps.  Henry is going to teach Bernie about sleeping like a good boy at night...and about growing giant cheeks.

8 months!

Henry is 8 months old!  He is moving around all over the place (this close to crawling).  He did not want to sit still for these pictures!

Grandma Mary is here (that is who he is gazing/laughing at in the pics above) and we are eagerly awaiting Baby Ressler's arrival. 

Henry is so excited to have a new cousin.  Baby Ressler is already showing his generosity and kindness by lending Henry his pants since he won't fit into them for a while.  The best part is the butt--however, little mister likes to practice his new skill of sitting on his own SO much that it was nearly impossible to get a photo!

Henry is getting used to all sorts of new solid foods, has started going to the Kids Club at the gym like a big boy, and is showing his love of music by "dancing" every time he hears a tune.  Oh, and he has started "sleeping in" until 6:15 so mommy can get back to her 5-6 routine! Wahoo!
